Caregiver Superhero Society knows that family caregivers often step into their role unaware of the challenges they will face, the sacrifices they will make and the emotional, physical and financial impact it will have on them.  Sometimes the caregiver journey lasts a brief time, and others last for many years.  Equipping these caregivers with knowledge and tools to deal with the situation gives them superpowers that allow them to do more than they ever thought possible.  No one understands the challenges of caregiving better than another caregiver.  They need a place to talk and fellowship with people like themselves and the Caregiver Cafe offers that opportunity.  Caregivers need to know they are not alone and that there are education programs that are open to the public. 

 

We wanted to provide these programs at no cost so caregivers on a limited budget would be able to get the education and emotional support they need.  Thanks to the generous support of donors and sponsors, we've been able to do that.
